2009 and 2008

At the GFWC International Convention on June 15th, 2009 in Cleveland, Kathy Palermo (GFWC Achieving By Reading Club, Lee's Summit)  received an award in "The Year in Pictures Photography Contest".  Entitled "Sleepy September," this photo of the Glade Creek Grist Mill in Babcock State Park near Rainelle, West Virginia will be the September photo in the 2010 GFWC Calendar.

Prize Winning Photos from 2009 State Convention

The 2008 Missouri photography contest was held at the Spring 2009 GFWC State Convention. First place winners in four categories are pictured. First place winners received a $10 check. All first, second, and third place winners received a ribbon and certificate. The photos were judged by Amy Knollmeyer, a Jefferson City professional photographer. The display of photos was outstanding this year. Keep taking pictures and enter our 2009 photography contest in May, 2010, at GFWC of Missouri Spring Convention.
